dc.description.abstractThe development of social skills and education of personal and social competence become of equal importance for accumulation and passing of knowledge. New methods and pedagogic techniques are required for commitment of new functions of pedagogic activity. Purpose: selection of educational methods of social skills, methodological means and pedagogic techniques which aid to development of training of social skills in the process of education; evaluation of teachers’ viewpoint on possibilities of application of new pedagogic techniques and methods in the process of education. Rresults: the most frequently applied methods of social skills training have been enumerated: active teaching methods and pedagogic techniques of debates. The most frequently applied active teaching methods have been singled out that is discussion in-groups, learning in collaboration and methods of performing roles. The spheres of development of pedagogic activity have been determined: conscious training of social skills exclusively, training of social skills as the consequence of development, development of educational process when choosing the training of social skills as a methoden
